How Do I Migrate Dropbox To Google Drive

I have used the steps for downloading folders but the folder names do not match up with my album names. Would I, and could I, change my albums to folders?

Unfortunately, I had a so called expert transfer my photos from Windows 7 (laptop) to my new HP Pavilion Windows 8 into DropBox. Some of my folders will not open and some have a shortcut extensions which also will not open.

Have I lost all those pictures?

Somehow I managed to get many of my pictures into Dropbox and made albums but now I have no folder/folders that are associated with those albums.

Oh please, can anyone help?
